Joe has been working with some of the young men on the estate for the last 18 months doing various courses in joinery, plastering, bricklaying and gardening. Last year they transformed a derelict piece of land behind the community shop into an amazing garden for the community to enjoy. Some young families on the estate also added to the garden by building a mosaic. They also recently built a storage cupboard for the youth club. The young men hope to build on this success and start a community enterprise soon.
